Course Objective:

This training is designed to provide annual instructions for those selected employees who have been trained as Wardens. Objective is to ensure that Wardens are kept up to date with legislation changes and their knowledge to effectively manage building emergencies is refreshed.

Building Fire Safety Regulation (BFSR) 2008 s38, states that the occupier of a building must give the evacuation coordination (warden) instructions for the building, at intervals of not more than 1 year to:
a) The evacuation coordinator/s of the building.
b) The persons responsible for carrying out the evacuation coordination procedures under the building’s fire and evacuation plan

Participants will extinguish a live fire.
